The 3D technical illustration above is of an image taken from a renewable energy animation sequence - it shows a cut-through section of a dam and details how hydropower is generated from the flow of the water. The special-fx capabilities of animation - such as being able to create realistic liquids, fire, light, extreme heat or cold for example - makes it a very powerful tool for the creation of 3D technical illustration.

Perhaps unusually, our clients typically approach us for pure animation work alone, but can then be surprised to find that once the 3D models and scenes are created, we can also output high-quality 3D technical illustration images as well - this bonus imagery is then often used alongside the main animation for brochures, marketing, presentations or exhibitions, etc.
